Guide
Type author’s name and title of book being reviewed. Limit to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals. Select Document Type Book Review.
Use Advanced Search. Limit by Type “Review.” Type the title of the biography in the search screen and change the drop down box by it to Article Title.
Journals, published between 1802 and the 1990s. Works best to type in author of biography in the search box.
1965 to present. Earlier in paper.
Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Index to core journal articles and cited references. Includes some abstracts. An unusual index to cited references -that is that this title indexes The references/bibliographies in the end of journal articles. Book reviews automatically "cite" the book being reviewed. One can search by book author, and then limit the cited references to just book reviews rather than a particular title being listed in an articles bibliography
