This series of assignments will lead you through the initial steps of a research project on traditional Chinese civilization.  Before you start using the resources found on this site, make sure you have read 1) the instructions for the Research Project included in the syllabus section of our D2L course site and 2) the first part (p. 14-42) of the chapter by Mary George entitled "From Research Assignment to Research Plan" in her book The Elements of Library Research: What Every Student Needs to Know" (found on D2L).   Once you have read both of these, proceed to the tab "Choosing a General Topic".
