Finding Books with Pictures in the UA Library Collection
- try a keyword search first in the catalog (e.g., Ireland and history and pictorial)
- once you find a title that sounds appropriate for you topic, click the title to open the record and look at the description and subject headings for the book
- Click on subject headings that seem useful for finding other books
- When you're looking at another title, check the record to see if it is illustrated (the description will say ill or illus) or a subject heading might include "pictorial."
