Standard & Poor's Industry Surveys
Gives an overview of a variety of industries. The overviews include the major companies in the industry, a description of the industry and some basic financial information.
From Michigan State University, this database provides access to industry overviews, links to additional resources, some information abotu trade statistics and other information. Access is free, but registration is required to access some portions of the site.
